Div II accepts program for Canadian Universities

So Div II will be accepting applications from Canadian universities to join Div II in sports. Honestly I think my school (University of Alberta) will compete right away in some sports. Not the "glamour sports" of basketball and football but I hockey team is great, our volleyballs are really good, and our woman's rugbht team is unreal. I like this but if I end up playing football at UofA I really dont want to play american-style football. Also there is an option that each school will be able to compete in Div 1 in one mens and 1 womens sport. I think it is going to be hockey as I think we could compete right away.

I may be wrong but college hockey isnt very big in Canada. All the good players play juniors and get drafted from there.

not all actually sure alot end up in Juniors but honestly this is Canada were talking about we grow hockey players on trees (literally I have a hockey player tree in my backyard)
