I'm glad they moved this up. Hopefully it will get good media attention and more than most early season matches between FCS and FBS teams. Maybe this is something the leagues could agree on, and have it be an annual match between the two championship teams.

Kinda glad this worked out.
After ditching North Texas, LSU was in negotiations with Mizzou to play a home-and-home. In any other year, I would have been okay with it, but our schedule is hard enough with Illinois, Texas, kansas, and Nebraska on it. Not in a year where a championship run is possible.

Don't know if it's true or not, but LSU didn't want a home-and-home. They just wanted one game down in BR.

it should be interesting to see how Edwards matches up against a D with some actual speed. He did that this year. |

doubt Appy's gonna come up with another miracle but it should be interesting to see how Edwards matches up against a D with some actual speed. Is Percy Harvin slow? I seem to recall he got caught from an angle by the defense that doesn't have actual speed. I guess he doesn't have actual speed either. |
