Diener needs some help if Marquette's going to crack the Top 25. Desmond Mason looks good for a young guy, but they really don't have a dominant big guy.

I'll go with, Louisville or Kansas. I'll decide between the two at the end of nonconfrence play.

1) Wake Forest 2) Kansas 3) Georgia Tech 4) North Carolina 5) Illinois 6) Louisville 7) Connecticut 8) Mississippi State 9) Michigan State 10) Syracuse 11) Arizona 12) Kentucky 13) Memphis 14) Oklahoma State 15) Wisconsin 16) Notre Dame 17) Boston College 18) North Carolina State 19) Duke 20) Florida 21) Maryland 22) Air Force 23) Texas 24) Iowa 25) Pittsburgh Is this an official poll? If not, I don't think Air Force should even be considered, despite last year's run. Plus Duke and Maryland are too low, and Missouri has a better team than what most people think, despite all of the distractions off the court. Any of the top four or five teams in the Big 12 could win the conference title.

Maryland is not at all underrated in my poll Terps. They were out of the NCAA tournament in the second round, I don't see any reason to expect anything better this year.

I think you actually have Wisconsin overrated..lol. Sadly, in my opinion, the Badgers will be hanging around 20-25 for most of the year, maybe even slipping out of the Top 25 a couple times. Without Devin Harris to save them by drawing a double team in pressure situations (Harris was a godsend for Clayton Hanson - aka the Badgers' Steve Kerr). They still have a relatively weak/unproven frontcourt with Wilkinson (still too skinny, even after putting on weight for 4 years) and Brian Butch, even though Butch was a McD's All-American and something like the 3rd best high school prospect his senior year - the same year LeBron James was #1. The Badgers will slip and fall if they depend on Shareef Chambliss and Alando Tucker too much. Tucker is more of a cutter than a shooter, and Chambliss has that shaky ACL and ankle problems. Combine all of this with how strong and competitive the Big Ten is getting, and it doesn't look that good for my Bucky. The Grateful Red will still be a force at the Kohl Center, though..that much is for sure :-p

The Big 10 seems like a tossup to me...I'm not real familiar with B-10 bball but it seems like any of a number of teams could win it...but it seems like Illinois is the trendy pick.
Iowa just isn't that good...I've seen them play a few times, they seem to recruit talent but can't put that talent forth on the court.
I know that GT isn't in the Big 10, but I think GT has a great shot too at going all the way to the FF...they are returning a lot of key guys off that team.

The B10 is a virtual toss up...it's so difficult to win on the road in that conference, too - especially in Mad-town, Champaign, Bloomington, MSU...even Michigan is getting tough.

Maryland is not at all underrated in my poll Terps. They were out of the NCAA tournament in the second round, I don't see any reason to expect anything better this year. Well maybe I'm just biased, but with Gilchrist, Jones, Ibekwe, Strawberry, and Fofana with more experience, the Terps will improve on last year. They started slow but ended up winning the ACC Tournament, and they lost to Syracuse in the NCAAs, a very good team, only by 2 points.

Plus you gotta remember how young of a team MD was last year. Their all a year older and more experianced id say MD is a top 15 team, and i kno their better than UF which you have one spot above them. But dont count Florida out as long as Roberson is hitting those threes we can beat any one

Air Force doesn't even have a chance to make the Tourney. I think they'll do decent at best in the NIT.

Well this is sorta off topic, but how will St. Joes fare? I'm thinking an above-average job in the NIT. Pat Carrol is all alone this year.

Well if you wanna count that Florida has all 5 starters returning and only 1 Sr. (David Lee) SO if that counts for any thing then why doesnt Florida get more looks. You forget we got to #1 last year with only 2 Sr's on our roster. Granted we lost both games while at #1, its still an accomplishment. Some well most say we underachieved, but for as young as we were, to play how we did to start the year just means that we're gonna be real good this year, so all im saying is if reterning all your starters is a big feat then were gonna be real good, because this is our second year in a row without losing anyone.
Dont count us out

Dont count us out I am saying nothing against FL or anything there are alot of young teams out there like FL (pre ranked at #23 in ESPN and #22 in the AP) and IL (pre ranked at #5 in ESPN and #6 in the AP) but since I am from IL and a big fan of the team I think they could go atleast to the Final 4 this year and last year a an all sophmore starting squad they went far and played a very good game vs Duke in the final 8 i think it was. So I think with all 5 returning they could go far but who knows there are things known as upsets
