Curious to see what you guys think. It's impossible to call these winners except maybe last year, as UConn was the favorite.
But as I do every year since I was 9, I'll go with my boys in Chapel Hill.

Maryland, wooooo!
I root and pull for the Terps in football, but in basketball, it's on a whole different level. I get real giddy come college basketball time, and even more crazy come March.

With UConn losing half it's team, it's wide open this year...unlike last year when UConn could've beaten half the NBA teams with all that talent. I'll be rooting for my Badgers, but without Devin Harris the best I can hope for is a Big Ten championship.

It's gonna be Alabama guys, please.
*remembers the rest of the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big XII, PAC 10, and Big East*
Well eh, maybe not. I'll go with the Tar Heels this year.

I agree, it is much morew balanced (UConn, St. Joes, etc.) but it's going to have to be a regular to the tournament that'll win. I can't see another Orangemen rampage again.

As long as Kansas doesn't win it, I could care less who wins it. Of course, I'll be rooting for Missouri, but they are a year or two away from contending.

Not only does N.Carolina have the talent to take home the hardware this year, but even if they make it into the Elite Eight. That almost assures a Championship appearance in the next 2 years. That team is so young and talented, that N.Carolina has finaly recruited themseleves back atop the NCAA.
No longer do we have to look at Duke as the PowerHouse, and Kansas as a constant threat. N.Carolina will take the NCAA by storm, thank god.

I gotta go with by boys from Starkville, Mississippi (Mississippi State if you didn't know that). Lawrence Roberts came back and I believe Gary Ervin will fill in nicely for Timmy Bowers at Point Guard. They are also bringing back Onterrio Harper (medically redshirted last year). Watch out for State this year!!!!!!! ;D

Conference USA is going to be a very close race again this year. In my opinion, there are six or seven teams that can compete for a title. If Marquette catches a few breaks, they can be up there.
