I am a EA sports fanatic, so I will go with March Madness.

MM sucked this year. Why don't you rent both first? It's much easier than just getting opinions from other people who may be biased.

College Hoops is better, I've played both. I'd wait until November though to get the new game.

Isn't CHoops still budget priced this year?

Mind giving any reviews on MM, besides the fact that everything besides the crap Gameplay is like Live?

I'm sorry I don't know about MM but I have College Hoops and personally think it's crap. The gameplay is OK at best. Other than that everything is like..the same exact thing the entire game. There are no cool features in dynasty mode or w/e it's called, recruiting sucks, the tournament has no added excitement to it and the celebration when you win it all is garbage. It's all too much of the same thing over and over again, at least that's how I felt. Never any excitement. The legacy mode where you try to get better and better as a coach is a cool idea, but like SS mode in Madden there's nowhere near enough in it to make it worth playing for more than like...5 games before you get bored of it.
Just my thoughts though..sue me. I played MM 2004 and liked it better then CH2k5 so i'll be getting MM 2006.

I have also play CH and thought it was dirt, same celebrations over and legacy was either to hard or to easy...

ASM: Can anyone say challenge?
I've played both, and CH is way better than MM. Whoever says that recruiting sucks on ESPN's version needs to fall off a cliff, because it's just about perfect.

no i know what a challenge is, and the way they make you play with the worst team and have a tough as hell schedule it is impossible to win unless you cheat the hell out of the game. Just wasn't any fun

Do what Bstn said, and you have yourself a fun dynasty. Personally, I simulate any closed dynasties I do (I usually choose Radford or Albany), and see what kind of job offers/recruits I can snag before huge schools come in and take them away.

My biggest problem with hoops was that I found the game overall to be too easy including legacy, and even more dissapointing to me was that by time I got a decent job offer somewhere else, I had teams like Weber St. or Albany as powerhouses that could beat down anyone. (I simmed most of the games)

Choops was much better. Madness had gameplay worse than Live. Choops was my fav. basketball game last year. And centaur, if you had some good legacy sliders, it worked for me... never encountered those small team powerhouses though, but then again I never simmed that much.

Well I found that it was glitchy like all the sports games are, but you could tell where teams would go with the ball as the set of playes oppenents would run isn't very long, and before too long you could jump passing lanes ect.
