Choops and EA both had the same problem of the no name schools becoming national powerhouses, it really ticked me off.

What is so bad about that? A lot of schools started out being bad then have become good over the years.

Because in ten years ALBANY STATE wont be ranked #1 in real life, but they are in the game.

And I replied that for as long as that school has been established they have been horrible, you never see ALBANY STATE in the top 25. Let alone the #1 team in college bball games. |

Nitty, I understand what you're getting at, but look at how it's been the last 10 years. Basically, 90% of all teams that sucked before still suck now. Those are your Navy's, Howard's, and Albany State's. You have your St. Joe's every once in a while, but I think what sep is talking about is that multiple schools invade the top 10 5 or 6 years down the road, which is unrealistic, as the only reason a team would have good players is basically good recruiting, and the only reason you get good recruiting is playing well, so it's easier for the big name schools that have always dominated.

I'm a EA Sports slappy band-waggon guy since Madden '92, but with basketball games, and actually any sports games, its good to go and rent both play each in a game, a dynasty season, and a NCAA tourney. Decide which one you like best. You hate both, you lost out on about 10 bucks.

YA i bought it 2day too and I love it. I usually go with 2k's bball games but I thought I would try something new. So far it has paid off. the last March Madness i played was 2004 and after playing 80 some games of it I fell in love with college hoops. But CHoops gets boring after a while and it never really was that fun.
Also the dynasty mode is way better in MArch Madness.
on the flipside CHOOPS gameplay is still a tad better MM2006's needs to improve on that. Consider me a converted person.
