The 12th ranked team in the nation (allegedly) has lost to Northern Iowa (a pwner team, btw) and Iowa State in the past week. Not only are they in-state rivals that they lost to, but this will put a big dent in their top 25 standing.
Any thoughts? Just thought this was kind of interesting.

Sometimes it just happens...they gave Texas a run for their money, does that mean that Texas sucks cause they almost lost to them?

Meh, you can never really know coming in, so it doesn't bother me much. I mean, it's not like this is Duke losing to Savannah State or anything...

Iowa under Steve Alford has often started with a bang (a la this year, and they also had several marquee wins to start the season last year), but regressed (or got caught up with?) as the season went on and just tanked. I guess they're just getting the sucking out of the way early this season.

Iowa's fine...they've always been a bit streaky and somehow manage to find a way to get into the finals of the Big Ten tournament seemingly every year. They need to get rid of the yellow jerseys, though...ouch. It's an eyesore whenever they play Illinois, with the yellow jerseys against the orange ones.
