Now that NCAA 06 is out, it sounds like the redesign is imminent. Should we wait for the redesign before starting a dynasty? I don't want to start a dynasty only to have the redesign happen and trash my layout...

Absolutely do NOT wait on the redesign. As I've proven in the past, I'm usually late on getting things out the door. And with recent personal setback, I've gotten even further behind in the development.
Besides, my plan is to implement the redesign in phases, first the home page and the sports home pages, then dynasty home pages, and so on. So it won't be "flip the switch and poof! it's there" redesign. The site will be in transition for a while once it's been started.
But again, don't wait for any of this to start your dynasties. While I'll try to be considerate of people's layouts, I won't rule out that you'll have to make modifications once it's done.

Stephen will answer this eventually I'm sure, but the jest of the redesign I don't think will drastically effect anyones layouts. I think mainly the redesign will currently effect the main homepages for DC as a whole, not so much the layouts of the individual dynasty pages. Like I said, this could be wrong, but this is from what I've been told and what I've seen.
In other words, go ahead and get going. Any changes which may effect your dynasty would probably be more trivial than anything.

robino is right on (albeit late), but I'd be careful when talking about the dynasty home page layouts- they will change. I plan on incorporating a couple new items for members-such as conference standings, a team leaders section that will automatically generated from your stats, and possibly a few other things. Depends on room, of course, and time.

Just wondering about this. I am curious to know if you will be adding a aspect to the site where you can right about a superstar mode/race for the heisman kind of thing. I know I have contacted you about this already, but I was still wondering if oyu think you would ever get around to it or not.

Yes, I will probably develop something "quick-and-dirty" for it initially, to get it up and running, then clean it up, enhance it, as I get feedback on it.
