What is the best conference in college basketball this season?
For me, I'd have to go with the Big East.
UConn
Louisville
Cincinatti
Marquette
Pittsburgh
Syracuse
Villanova
West Virginia
Thats 8 solid NCAA Tourney teams.

You could make a case for the Big Ten. All but one team has an overall winning record.

We all know it's the SEC.   Well I personally think it's the Big East so far, with the Big Ten hanging out right behind them. Too bad the ACC and SEC are on sort of down years. The SEC especally, with Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi State having their worst seasons in a long time. Though I will note that Tennessee and Arkansas are having better years, it's just not the same with Florida dominating the conference and everyone else basically playing for second fiddle. |
