Ohio State plays Davidson. This is not good for Ohio State, as I think Davidson is good enough for a 9 or 8 seed.

I would think about 35-40 three-point attempts will probably take flight in this game. EDIT: I'm surprised with Syracuse's 5 seed. That's a little high in my eyes.

And Temple beat them in the Conference Tourney.... Pre-Tourney everyone saying GW had shot at a 2 or 3 ...I never heard that.

Northern Iowa deserved theirs, but the Air Force pick makes me sick.
Also, maybe I'm blind, but what's the play-in game?

Syracuse is the hottest team in the nation right now. Nah, there too emotionally drained after there big east run, A&M upsets them. Classic 12 over 5.

Meh, I saw Syracuse play once in person this season, and they looked decent. Really, the game will come down to McNamara.
Now, of course, if it was the Catamounts lined up against them, I pick the Cats in a heartbeat.

No doubt they would rather be playing Friday instead of Thursday, but Syracuse will win vs. A&M.

I personally like the Aggies over the Cuse. They've only won those games in the last minute. They got a sluggish effort from UConn in the first half of that game and was just able to pull it out in the end. Then remember their last week of the regular season and how that went. I just don't think that highly of that team.
Now put them up against a red hot Texas A&M team. They play some of the best defense in the country and gave Texas one hell of a run in the Big XII after beating the tar out of a Colorado team playing to make the dance.
Syracuse is too high and facing a team that is playing their best ball right now. Which makes me favor A&M for my 5/12 upset.
Another interesting game is Tennessee/Winthrop. Tennessee has lost their edge. They simply are playing sloppy basketball at this point of the season. I'm thinking this one could turn out to provide a 15 seed upsetting a two seed. That would be something else.

Hofstra got screwed, and I'm not just saying that because I might be going there next year. Seriously, they beat George Mason twice, and GM gets in instead of them? Air Force beats nobody and loses in the first round of the Mountain West tourney, and they get in? Allow me to throw out the "WTF, mate?" flag. As for the Badgers, I totally called the Badgers getting stuck with a 9 and having to play a #1 in round two. Then they actually do get a 9 and get stuck against Arizona and that may end up being more embarassing than playing a #1 seed. For crying out loud, they scored 19 points in the first half of their Big Ten tourney game against Indiana. The team is anemic offensively. You could seriously make a case that the Badgers didn't deserve to get in, either.

I have them going down in the Sweet 16. Even though they havent been playing to hot as of late, they cant be worse than Witchita State.

Tennessee's not getting past Wichita I wouldn't be so sure. Tennessee is the type of team that can beat anyone (see Texas) one night and get hammered by a lesser foe another (see Alabama). I think if Tennessee can survive Winthrop, they'll match up just fine against Wichita State. I do admit though that if this was a month ago, Wichita State would be taken out but now it would only be a tad surprised if the Shockers win. Oh and who else is feeling a South Alabama over Florida upset?

I have no clue how South Alabama plays, so I had to go with Florida in my brackets. I do have UW-Milwaukee beating Oklahoma, though.
