86-84 overtime quarterfinal victory Well, this probably puts the Orange into the tourney, thoughts?

This was a much needed win for the Orange. Gerry McNamara has been doing great. I must say though, UConn played crappy, and I am an Orange fan.

UConn played very well in the second half. They were down by 14 or something at the half, and the had the lead with under 10 seconds left. I can't really say McNamara made a lucky shot, because, well, he does it a lot.

I was watching this game on my cell phone in class! I was biting my lip to keep from cheering.

Syracuse just beat G-Town 58-57, after being down by 15. That is the Big East Tourney record, for a come back. And they are also the first team to ever win a big east tourney game, after there previous one being an over time game.
Georgetown was up 57-53 with 53 seconds left, then McNamara hit a three, Syracuse got a steal, McNamara made a nice pass for another bucket to put them up by one.

I love it how so many people were calling Gerry McNamara overrated before the Big East tournament. It was just so nice to see Gerry McNamara put the team on his back for this tournament.
