SIGNUPS CLOSED (FOR REAL THIS TIME)
Okay I'm going to try to start an NCAA to NBA RTTHOF. For those of you who don't know, RTTHOF is Road to the Hall of Fame. Here's the basics
Now I haven't even looked at the CAP system yet, but I'm assuming it was similar to last year's. If anyone who has looked at the CAP system already and sees a mistake, feel free to correct me. My brother left his game on overnight, so the PS2 is occupied, although it is tempting to turn it off.
Anywho, here's how the cap system should work.
Ok a few things to note. For one, I'm not sure if you can pick your height and weight. I remember in 2k5, depending on the type of player you were and the type of build or whatever you put, that determined it. If you want to put the particular build, go ahead, or if you put ht./wt. then I'll just change it accordingly.
For major strength, pick the stat you want to be the best for your player. Obviously, blocking would not be a great idea for a 5'8 PG, and speed may not be very important for a 7'3 center. Anyways, pick the one that is most important in your mind. For major weakness, it's the same thing except for the fact that it's bad. This is to keep some sort of balance so there's no 98 overalls. I'd rather you 5'8 PGs pick something a little more daring then blocking, but do whatever works. If you have some stupid pick, I'll just change it.
For other strengths and weaknesses, pick the other 3 things you want to be really good or not so hot in. If you got a 6'10 PF, maybe you want a good midrange game to complement your major strength of close range. You may, on the other hand, have a big man, that you're trying to get defensive minded, so you make midrange a weakness.
Finally, for college preference, try not to pick the same college as someone else. Also remember, while it looks good if you go to Duke or Kentucky, remember you'll have a harder time to get PT. But if you play for a team like Alcorn St., you may not get the chance to get some recognition. Hopefully we'll have a somewhat balance of good and bad teams.
The last thing I want to point out is that I don't know how many CAPs you can create at once. If we have to make 2 seperate classes and have one of the two wait until the next season, we can do that.
So start creating...

Okay I'm going to try to start an NCAA to NBA RTTHOF. For those of you who don't know, RTTHOF is Road to the Hall of Fame. Here's the basics
- You and other people sign up and create a player
- I put your player into College Hoops 2k6
- I sim 2k6 for the four seasons
- After your four seasons, I will sim the draft, and if your player gets selected, I will then follow him in NBA 2k6 (which I will be getting shortly)
- Stats will be updated on a regular basis (not sure yet, but maybe every month)
