YEAH! I had picked Texas A&M over Syracuse the whole time, and now i get it right! ...quite a few people did, including me. Today's upset picks: 12 Kent State over 5 Pittsburgh 9 Bucknell over 8 Arkansas 9 UAB over 8 Kentucky Yeah, I'm not really expecting much to happen today.

rofl, they switched it from the Arizona game to the Arkansas/Bucknell and Davidson/Ohio State games because it's not as competitive.

Great shot in the corner with 3 seconds left, helps Northwestern St pull out a great 64-63 upset over Iowa.

Arkansas choked even though they had plenty of time to score, and that brings me to 2-2 so far on the day. Pretty lousy this year for me

Jami, you're boys aren't faring too well...stuck 17 with just over 7 to go. I'm glad I picked Arizona in every single one of my brackets. As am I. Wisconsin was so horrible in the last couple weeks of the season, I was shocked that they got a spot in the tournament at all. Seriously, the tournament committee would have faced less crap if they put Cincinnati in the tournament instead of Wisconsin. This was one of Bo Ryan's worst teams he's ever had, and it didn't help matters when Greg Stiemsma and Marcus Landry became ineligible. Next year will have a better ending for Wisconsin - Tucker's coming back for his senior year (and hopefully his foul shot comes back after being AWOL all year), Taylor will have more experience at PG, and guys like Krabbenhoft and Butch will benefit from the playing time this season. With that said, Marquette is very close to becoming the best program in the state - Tom Crean is luring most of the best in-state recruits (and there are a lot more good basketball players in WI than people think) to Milwaukee rather than Madison - Steve Novak is a Wisconsin native, Wes Mathews Jr. is a Wisconsin native (and last year's Mr. Basketball), etc. As bad as Villanova is looking against Monmouth, I wouldn't be surprised if Arizona knocked them out on Sunday. Another side note - the Oakland regional is kicking my butt. I only have two right in that bracket - UCLA and Gonzaga. A long extended finger goes towards the Tide, Hoosiers, and Bison.

Sorry to double post, but DB, the entire reputation of the Big Ten is resting on MSU's shoulders right now. Everyone's waiting for Indiana to crap the bed, Illinois will have trouble with Washington, and Ohio State's not getting any further than the Sweet 16 (if they even get that far). Seriously...MSU needs to beat George Mason and they're letting a team that shouldn't even be there (*coughshouldbehofstracough*) stay close. Play some defense MSU.

This is ridiculous. Why do the Spartans always suck when they're faced with an opponent they should beat easily? Why are we perennial underachievers? God, it frustrates me so much.

I'm so frustrated with MSU right now I've switched over to the Wisconsin State High School tournament from Madison...Division I semifinals, Milwaukee King against Madison Memorial - two of the best teams in the state. King has 3 guys signed to Division I colleges next season, while Memorial has the best junior in the state.
Meanwhile, it looks like MSU is starting to wake up a little bit and realizing they're in the freaking NCAA tournament.
