So I'm my Badgers and I'm playing the Buckeyes at home. I'm ranked #6 they are unranked. My second loss to an unranked team in Big Ten Play...
Anyway I think it was about 13 I was down with about 1 minute left. I start Joe Krabbenhoft who is a Freshman, because he is freaking realiable from beyond the arch for me, and he came up big. So I hit about 4 straight threes with him. I consistenly knocked the ball loose at half court, giving me the open hoop. It comes down to the last possession, I am forced to foul with 3 seconds left, down by 1, they miss both FT's I call timeout. 2.6 left to go, I inbound it just shy of half court to Alando Tucker, I run up to the 3 point arch, throw it up, back of the rim, front of the rim, back of the rim...OUT! I lose by 1..75-74. Krabbenhoft finished with 25 points. I recently, just put it up to the "MOP" level which I still don't know what it stands for...I notch the layups made frequency by about 3-5 ticks, because it is unbelieveable how many easy layup-esque plays they miss and the 3-point frequency up about 2-4 ticks as well.
Just post your best wins/losses here...

I was playing an dynasty for fun and I was Duke. Lost to UNC three times, in the regular season and conference tourney. By a combined margin of 5 (78-77, 69-67, and 74-72). So i went on to Selection Sunday and they put UNC in my same bracket, I was the #1 them the #2. We meet up in the Elite Eight, and Hansbrough had been injured the game before. So it was a real easy game to win, with Shelden down low. I ending up winning 84-69. Sweet revenge.
And i believe MOP stands for Most Outstanding Player

My best loss ever was losing to Savannah State....with Duke.
It was awesome.

In my Wake Forest closed legacy (about 8 years in after spending 5 w/ Portland State), I had the #1 ranked team in the nation and played host to #2 Duke. I ended up winning by 5, but it was the most exciting game I've ever played. It included Duke getting out to a 12-4 lead to start the game, something like 30 total turnovers, and my victory came without me hitting a three pointer (something like 0-for-10 from 3). Clutch free throw shooting won it for me, and Duke's center (their highest rated player) struggled with fouls the whole game. Edit: Since it was like 2012 in my game, Mark Few was in his second or so season as head coach at Duke...thought that was funny.

This thread brings back so many memories of losing close games with the Albany Great Danes.
I might have to play that game again.

I just got 2k6 recently, and have already had a great game with Gonzaga. I was in my second year and the Bulldogs were ranked #14, 9-3. I was playing #15 UCLA, 10-0. To make a long story short, Adam Morrison drained a three with two seconds remaining to put the game into overtime. In OT, Morrison had 5 points and we won by virtue of free throws, 60-something to 59. I'm not great at adding drama, but there was definitely anxiety in my mind.
