Anyone out there have some good tips for recruiting. I mean I am really unsure about when to recuit. I have read around a little and some people say every week, some people say never and let the cou do it, and then some say that only during certain weeks do you recruit. Anyone have any tips or anywhere I should look for tips?
Also does anyone have a good set of sliders for realistic play?

You don't even need sliders to make it realistic, the game nailed it.
I myself never finished a season, but I always recruited every week.

The better charisma you have, the easier it is for recruiting, that is the best thing to do for that. If you start off with legacy mode, it will be hard to get 4* players so I aimed for 3* and 2* players only until my charisma gets better. If you start off with a good time, you will usually get the good players because of your team (like a Duke, Michigan State or UConn).
The sliders are pretty good but when I get home, I will try and give you want I have, mine still need a little tweaking to do...

See the only thing is I am getting pounded by teams that are only a few ovr points above me but then I am pounding teams that are lower than me. Except for Grambling because of their Star SG he dropped 51, yes 51 (including 30 in the 2nd half) of the teams 70 points against me. I still but only by 2. So for me I could you use a good set of sliders to help me out. |

If you don't recruit a player every week, they will lose interest in you. The more charisma you have, the more rapidly they're going to become interested in you, as well, so that (and teaching) are the traits you really wanna nail to start out.

I have MM06 being the EA Sports bandwagoner I am. I am thinking about getting CB2K7 next time. The recruiting sounds pretty tight.
