Play Maryland tonight in the coaches vs cancer classic. Raymar Morgan is a stud. Freshman and he has dropped at least 10 in his first four games.

...
Texas isn't as amazing as last year. Michigan State is supposed to be good.
Doesn't need it's own topic.

Michigan State was supposed to make the NIT this year. Texas was supposed to be good. The experts are having a boner with all their talent.

Did you watch the game? All they talked about were Augustin and Durant.

I remember watching a game on ESPN and the dudes wouldn't shut up about Creighton and Nate Funk...they weren't supposed to be good or anything, but they loved the guy.
Not the best example, and they did talk about Durant a lot, but last night they wouldn't shut up about Raymar Morgan...

but last night they wouldn't shut up about Raymar Morgan... Yeah it got annoying but the kid is going to be good. So are the three coming in next season.

It's fair to say both teams are coming off a good year and lost a bit of talent and leadership. Texas will probably end with the better season, but this isn't a George Mason to the Final Four-type upset.

but this isn't a George Mason to the Final Four-type upset. Nope not at all, but yet a solid win for a program that was supposed to be in the NIT and have trouble keeping up with teams. They stuck good with Maryland too, but that stupid elbow call. Maryland has some good fakers.

Maryland has some good fakers. I couldn't imagine Gary Williams having cry-baby players.... come on!!!! It's almost expected when you play Maryland to be expected that if you play tough, to be treated as thugs.

Let make another post for their win against Vermont... come on...
As much as Texas was supposed to be good this doesn't make them GOOD this year. The idea of pre-ranking teams before the season starts is by roster and some other stuff sports buffs think of to get those rankings. Texas will be really challenged when they face Gonzaga and LSU this coming week.
Its good to see that your passion for MSU bleeds all over the forum but to make a topic about a game only 5 games into the season is kind of... I will end it here

I just said they weren't a very good team. They're a good team, but not worthy of their own topic every time they manage to win a game.

It's not like I posted a win against Grand Valley St. Texas is a goiod team, and a good win for this program that was expected to struggle this year. Not sayin they're championship bound.

They won't even make it past the round of 32.... Texas isn't all that good this year either.
