I have 2k5 from awhile ago since I couldn't fork over 50 for MM at the time but I didn't get 2k6 last year. From what I say, 2k5 wasn't really impressive but I figure that 2k7 is probably much better...
Is it a much better game than 2k5?

I just bought 2K7 and it might be the best basketball game I've ever played. Just messing around with it, I really like it. I think its one to get Spartan. (Only 20 bucks too!)

I should be getting 2k7 tomorrow, is it worth the 20 bucks? I just got NBA 2k7, and it was pretty good, I hope CH2k7 is better though.

DB, here's my question. Does it really seperate itself from 2K6? Or is it just basically the same thing with updated rosters? Like, how's the gameplay, and dynasty mode?

It plays a little different. The unity thing definitely plays in, and yes the roster update is nice. Legacy is almost the same though.
I'm glad I took the $60 fall, but I'm sure some others wouldn't feel the same way.

If he didn't like like 2k5, I don't think he should be allowed to get a new basketball game. I like 2k5 over any NBA game (including this years) and any MM game...

2K5 pales in comparison to 2K7.

2K5 pales in comparison to 2K7. Well duh. You're playing 2k7 on the 360, while you played 2k5 on The Dos. What I'm wondering, is it any good for the PS2?

2K6 on PS2 was a big step up from 2K5 on PS2.

I just got 2K7 today and have no idea why I ever even played MM06. This game is really good on the PS2, gameplay wise, I haven't started a dynasty yet, but I expect good things.

2k7 is probably the best college basketball game I have ever played. I'm running with the Ole Miss Rebels and actually played every game this season (30+ games) and I have never done that with any basketball game. We're in the second round of the tourney against a two seed LSU (went 1-1 against them this season). I'm playing on the 360, but I can only assume it plays this nice on the PS2. Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it's a ton of fun to play.

Its an amazing play. Only thing that bothers me is some of the rosters (LSU's in particularlly) are jacked up.
