If I got 5 emails by a guy in a day, I'd be pissed.

I thought it was you could send one email/week. Same with the phone call.
I really don't have problems with the recruiting system. It's hard to get recruits, but that's how it goes in real life as well.

That IS how it does.

Recruiting is easier than EA in my opinion. All you do is sit there and build up their interest. Once it is high enough, offer a scholarship before another team does on signing day.

Recruiting is easier than EA in my opinion. All you do is sit there and build up their interest. Once it is high enough, offer a scholarship before another team does on signing day. Not that easy at all. I'm at Ole Miss (second year) and I have signed players for all my schollies, but it wasn't easy. I got a 4 star player from Poland, 3 star guard from Texas, and a 2 star center from Mississippi my first year. This year I did manage to pull in a 4 star SG from Memphis during the season and I'm in the hunt for a 4 star SF and the number one player in the country at PF. It's not easy though, but I'm really playing well this year and have A+ charisma for my coach, which does not hurt. I find College Hoops recruiting way harder than NCAA FB recruiting and by a long shot.

International recruits are great. They're very rarely offered scholarships.
If you're using a small-conference school, try and get some international recruits in the 3 star range or so. Remember, in a small conference without many stars, a 3-star recruit can have as much impact as a 5-star one can have in a power conference.

Ok and that was how I got to sit on my ass while building interest to high 80's low 90's and then offer them a scholarship.
What do you know, they signed. That was real hard.
Maybe it's because I'm MSU and Tom Izzo is a high prestige coach, but it seems easy to me.

That's the same thing you do in College Hoops. You build their interest, then offer them schollies.

That was the gayest post I have ever read. Not even joking.
March Madness you have to throw them pitches and what not and all you have to do on here is contact them, offer them a scholarship and they are yours.

Well then maybe you should play with a team that isn't so good and build them up.
I'm just saying I like CH recruiting better than MM. Even if you had to throw pitches it didn't matter they'd still gain interest even if you threw the wrong pitch.
PLus MM recruiting is way 2EZ. I got 3 5 starts in my first year with Vermont

Okay, well we can both agree that each game has easy recruiting.
But saying CH doesn't have easy recruiting isn't a fair statement. I got two five stars without any effort whatsoever.

I know TJ, I'm just saying it isn't exactly hard like some are making it sound.
Yeah, I like 2k7 a whole lot better than MM, I just think that the recruiting is easy no matter which game you get.
I think the most realistic recruiting is NCAAFB, simply because you have a lot of targets, but most of them walk away.

Not really, it's pretty easy in NCAAFB.
Except on the 360. It's extremely hard, at least to me.

Well, at least once you get up to an elite level. I can still pull in Top 50 classes with lower level teams. I generally get two or three big hitters in-season and then build depth from state prospects when out of season begins if I'm a small team. Get more prestige, do more out of season. I find it easier than College Hoops.

Bama, I'm playing with Ohio State.
The thing is, I'm not talking about it being harder to land top-level recruits. I average 5-7 per season, and I usually have a Top-2 class. I just can't find any depth. I will get around 15 players, and the rest of my roster is filled with walk-ons.

You're in Ohio, start fishing those 3 star or even 2 star guys that fit your system out of Ohio onto your team. I generally can get 4-5 five star guys, 7-8 4 stars, and then fill out with 3 star guys and two star guys to get depth. Generally I'll try and find a 99 speed corner who isn't polished anywhere else and types like that. Find a guy with something you like but raw other places and by senior year they'll be very good generally.
