Generally the 2,3,4-star guys tend to have more potential, at least from what I've seen. I think something that might help you increase the depth of your classes is to recruit just below your prestige - i.e., Ohio State should recruit more 3's and 4's with an occasional 5 instead of all 4's and 5's. Look for the ones with "excellent" or "good" potential.
