Oh, I'm sorry. It's not like anyone other than diehard A&M fans know who any of the other Acie Laws are. Heaven forbid I refer to him as Acie Law and every college basketball fan knows who I'm talking about.

Yea, I'm just kidding but his official name IS Acie Law IV and that's what it says on his jersey, just pointing it out! ;D

Well, on ESPN, they just said Acie Law. Not Acie Law The Fourth.

Nobody uses official names. Get with it. Notice the new sig! Yea, you don't have to say "the fourth" because that just sounds weird, but when you type or write it anywhere you must write "IV." That's just how you do things.

Could it happen again?
Drew Neitzel has ice water in his veins.

Well, I'm kinda pissed now. We probably should have closed that one out.

Well, I'm kinda pissed now. We probably should have closed that one out. No one helped Maurice Joseph out when he got picked. Walton was right there but didn't react until the last second. I could almost see Wisconsin winning after that timeout. O well, doesn't break my heart. Didn't hurt us one bit. Now we have to win our first Big Ten tourny game. A loss to someone like PSU, NW, or Minny would hurt us greatly. I thought State played very well on the road today, and they have nothing to be ashamed of.

That game was crazy. Wisconsin had one field goal in almost a ten minute span... and that last 3 was insane.
Neitzel, while he had put it together at the end of the 2nd half, kind of had some real ugly shots. He was way short on a lot and then started to go long, but he eventually caught his rythm...

I am just glad that they kept it close once again, and it came down to the last shot. To be honest, I thought we would get blown out in Madison today, since it was senior day and the whole revenge factor. We still finished 8-8 which is the exact same as last year, so how can I not be pleased with this season? We beat Texas, Wisconsin, etc. something we never should have done. Even if we lose in the first round of the NCAA's, I love this team. They showed so much more effort this year than the Big 3 showed last year. If they had this much heart they could have went to the F4. I love this team and can't wait for this recruiting class to come in! #3 baby! rivalshoops.rivals.com/commitlist.asp

I really like the Sparties in the dance actually. They have played pretty well lately. Depending on where they end up, I think they're a good shot at a Sweet 16. Then again, I thought South Alabama would upset Florida last year. That one worked out well.

Then again, I thought South Alabama would upset Florida last year. That one worked out well. If they keep showing this kind of effort, they could win the Big Ten tourney. It doesn't break my heart that Shannon Brown left now. I like Morgan a lot better and if Brown stayed, Morgan might not have had this year to develop. This team will be very good in the next year or two. But yeah, like you said, it's where they end up. We have the #21 RPI so that will help us out a lot. And the fact that we beat Texas.

O well, doesn't break my heart. Didn't hurt us one bit. Nothing ever hurts you beloved Spartans, eh. It's funny. He's so locked in on having such low standards for the team, and if a loss comes up, he says "no big deal we weren't supposed to win" and if they win, he's all over it. He's like Ned Flanders with a bit of an ego

He's like Ned Flanders with a bit of an ego Was I all over a win against Illinois? No. Was I all over a win over Indiana? No. Let's see.... Minnesota- No Michigan- No Northwestern- No. Penn State- No. The only games I have gotten excited about, were when we beat Texas, and #1 Wisconsin. Should I have not gotten excited about those? We have a young team this year, that was slated to be in the NIT at the end of the season. Regardless of what you people think, this is a rebuilding year for us. Neitzel has never shot this much in his 2 previous seasons combined, and he's the only returning starter. Why not get excited when you beat the #1 team in the nation? You would do the same damn thing. Were we supposed to win the game yesterday against Wisconsin? No, and that's why I didn't mind. Our RPI is fine, and we played them till the final shot. All I'm saying is, the Wisconsin game doesn't hurt us, because they are #5 and we played them on the road to lose by only 2 points. Are you saying that did hurt us? Sure, the losses to Purdue and other ones hurt us a lot, but did I say they didn't matter against teams like that? No. Find where I said any other games didn't hurt us, and win a cookie.

I have to agree with Spartan when it comes to the tourney. And I act the same with Michigan basketball anyway, who just blew any shot they had at the dance with the worst last two minutes of shooting I've ever seen. I bet MSU makes Sweet 16, or atleast wins their first round game, depends on match-ups.

Are you saying that did hurt us? It certainly didnt help you. Unranked team, plays #5 team on the road, down to the final shot? That totally killed our tournament shot.
