Since I graduated (temporarily) last semester, I've found myself with a bit of excess in time lately. I'm working full time and saving up some money, but it hasn't quite chipped away at those hours when all my friends are doing homework or sitting in class, and a guy can only spend so much time at the bars before he's sent into rehab, so I figured I'd head back on here and give another go at a dynasty... at least until NCAA 08 comes out and I immerse myself in that for a few months.
I'm not entirely sure on what program I want to take on... I feel like it would be too easy to fall back on my Hoosiers, and the future here in Bloomington is bright enough that I don't need a dynasty world to make me feel better about the team.
With that in mind... I do want a major conference team. I appreciate the Gonzagas of the world, but honestly... they're only entertaining in March. I want someone with a solid nucleus, and I don't really want to be forced into filling five scholarships my first season. I'm not necessarily opposed to taking over a program that's already successful, although that likely wouldn't be as fun.
I appreciate any input/feedback. Also, I'm not necessarily limiting myself to the teams in the poll... I just grabbed one team from some of the major conferences. And yes, I included the MVC as a major... it's getting close enough.
