Not a ton of upsets stand out to me.
ODU, ORU, Arky, and Winthrop are the only ones I've really considered as of now.

A lot of teams I'd have picked to upset higher seeds got paired with teams I don't see losing. Davidson got stuck with Maryland. I really want to pick Davidson, but I just don't know... you obviously don't follow Pac-10 basketball...Stanford has a nice resume Syracuse has a better resume....

I like GT out and the Cuse in first off. Secondly, I want to put Kansas State in somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Perhaps Stanford/KSU would be a switch. It's close, but I do like Stanford in.

and Illinois shouldn't have... That one really surprised me. I was talking to Usma on AIM and we both said at the same time, "How the hell did Illinois get in?"

well what stands out to me most is the east regional, marquette/msu game will be good, and the winner should play unc. the whole region is stacked with texas, g'town, wash st. i still like the tarheels in that region, maybe becuase im showing a little fan-biased, but if we can get past durant and hibbert in the region than we should fare will in the final four.
as for the cuse and drexel, i really think syracuse should have gotten in and the illini shouldn't have, but i tend not to make a big deal about these bubbles teams that dont get in, cause 9 times out of ten there gonna be booted out in the first round, and if not then, then definately the second round.

I just filled out my bracket for the DC Pick Em and my final four are: Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, and Texas A&M
My champ is the Jayhawks but my bracket just doesn't seem right at all. I may fix it. I mean, i have Ohio State losing to Tennessee in the third round and Texas beating North Carolina....

Syracuse plays a very weak schedule, but still Stanford is NIT material. Sorry yankeehtr if I don't give a **** about the Pac 10.
Oregon will make a run I think. Michigan State and Marquette will be a war I think. Tom Crean(sp?) is a former MSU assistant and he and Izzo both get fired up. I give MSU the edge because Izzo always seems to get them going at tourny time.
Drexel, well I have never even heard of them, so therefore I don't care. Winthrop, I think I'm taking them over ND. Illinois should of got in I think, don't ask me why.
That is all for now I guess. Will have to look at the bracket a little harder.

why is everyone doubting the tarheels, yeah there in a tough bracket and all, but they just won the acc championship, which happens to be one of, if not the toughest conference. i mean they're already proven they can play in the spotlight, cause any acc game is a big game (especially the duke ones), and they have beaten potent teams all year long, e.g. osu, arizona.
yh its gonna be tough but we can do it.

UNC isn't THAT strong. They lost to Virginia Tech (twice), NC State, Georgia Tech and Maryland. Any one of those higher seeded teams could get them on a good night.
Plus, they're in the toughest region. Georgetown and Texas could definitely beat UNC.
Also, I'm really scared of Marquette and I'm leaning toward picking them at this point.

Well i think Florida's region is the toughest but UNC is still young and can be beaten in this tourney.
