I think he meant Findlay.
As I said about MSU, it's an exhibition people. Besides that, we have to replace 4 starters and the best 6th man in the conference (Cook).

exhibition or not, its still the players of a bigtime ncaa basketball against players that couldnt get a scholarship to 300+ 1-A schools.

Nah, its just that the smaller programs play hard and with a chip on their shoulders. They want to prove themselves against a big time school....get some national spotlight. Beating a big time school would do wonders for a smaller program- mostly by raising the morale of the team and giving the school something to talk about. Big time schools basically view these games as practice....practice against another team so that intersquad scrimages won't be needed all the time. I can understand Ohio State losing an exhibition because of all the people they lost but Michigan State losing in double OT leaves me scratching my head.

What part of "exhibition" do you not understand? The starters don't play the whole game, it's not trated like a regular meaningful game.....nobody should even CARE about the results of these matches.

Think about it fellas, does anyone really care about the result of pre-season NBA games? Wait, nevermind. No one ever cares about NBA games.

Yawn.. another game that doesn't matter. When they go on to hypothetically win the Big Ten, nobody's gonna anything about that loss to Findlay. It's more of a morale boost to Findlay then of a big deal to OSU.

Starters Butler and Lighty got 35 and 36 minutes for Ohio St (more than any Findlay player). Koufus and Diebler both played 26 minutes. It's not like the starter made a token appearance and sat after five minutes. Findlay had ten players with over ten minutes (more than OSU).
Neitzel played 40+ minutes for Michigan St., and they had their regulars in throughout the OT periods. This isnt like a spring training game when an MLB team of AA callups loses to a college team.

I will say nothing, but it is kinda funny. Little ironic after all the crap we heard after losing to App. State. Excuses are your own. You'll be fine, I still say Sweet 16. nicely predicted sir

Yeah, I'm so offended. The same GVSU team that finished 36-1.
We were one of the final 16 teams. We have every single 4 year player play in a Final Four at least once. But yeah, I guess exhibition games are everything now.
And Maize, difference between the amount of talk on the App State game, it counted. This one didn't count.

I'm the one who bumped it. let it go, if I'd have known you'd get bent out of shape about something that happened in November, I wouldn't have brought this up.

Oh man guys, Michigan State, what a joke, they lost to Grand Valley State oh man. Ok. I like how it's a big deal that I didn't know it was a joke. Shouldn't you be at some anti-whatever meeting? I didn't think a message board was mature enough for you.
