I don't know how legit that site is.. I mean, 2K probably would say something before some random website comes out with it.
I'm not going to say that 2K8 is the best NCAA game I've ever played. In terms of replay ability, 2K6 was probably the most fun. Since then, it's pretty much been the same game. EA actually overhauled Live and March Madness, from what I've seen so far. I don't think that this will make 2K cancel their game, especially now, where the game sales will pick up with March Madness in the coming months.

Wait, I still don't understand, why are they cancelling it? Cost doesn't justify making the game. Bottom line is, poor sales and outside pressure from the Commie loving fools at EA and a breakdown in licensing negotiations. |

It's getting to the point where I'm just gonna stop buying new games. I haven't bought a 360 game since Madden came out.

I think he meant in the sports genre, Jay. But I have to agree without competition Madden hasn't taken as many chances in inovation because there is no need to put money into something without worry of what everyone else is doing....

I barely play my sports games as of now, so I'd play even less in other genres. The last game I bought period was Madden, and I don't see myself buying anymore anytime soon. The fun factor in video games seems to have passed me by for the most part, and I'm not entirely sure why.

Call of Duty 4 has been my saving grace in terms of video games this year. It is a really good game (CoD4) but in terms of sports games, I do feel EA is getting a bit overzealous with their contracts to major organizations (aka NFL and such). It's just sad to see this happen (in my opinion)  |

Don't even put Madden in the same sentence as MM. I know Madden has been disapointing, but MM makes me cream over Final Four 99 or whatever the last 989 produced game was. It makes NBA Live look like game of the year...
