I thought it was good motivation personally. These are adults, that are having their education paid for because they are good at basketball, they should be able to take a little criticism.

Billy's just blowing off steam because he wont be winning another national title anytime soon. I'm sure the Gators will be contenders in 2 years.

Someone's not used to missing the tournament. Well they should have been able to make the tournament. The fact they couldn't beat pitiful Alabama in the SEC tourney gives him ample reason to bitch. |

He got caught up in the heat of the moment, after getting his ass beat. He just had too high expectations after the past two years.

But he should've known that it wouldn't be the same after last year. He lost his core. Do you really think you can keep it going after you lose the entire core of your team? I say they make the tourney in 2010

I think this is a good coaching move... these kids get so much handed to them, if Donovan thinks they haven't come through on their end of the deal, it seems fair to me. If someone wants to say it's Donovan's fault that they missed the tournament, than the AD can let him go.
