I did this entirely by hand with help from www.sportslogos.net/ for the hat and jersey logos. As you can see, I didn't just slap Johnny Damon's head on a Yankee jersey... ORIGINAL:  REMADE:  Comments would really be appreciated, so let me know what you think!  |

There's one problem, in the picture Damon has the World Series 2004 patch on, the Yankees were never in the 2004 WS. Other than that it's great.

Err....you've never used that site? Not only do I use it all the time, but I'm a member over there. (lots of interesting logo and uniform related stuff on the forums...I've even tried a little bit of logo design since I joined).
Anyway, the picture is outstanding. At first glance, it passes for being an actual photograph. But if you really pick it a part, there are some mistakes. The way you did the clone stamp to get rid of the red pants stripe left a thick line that is visible when closely scrutinized. The sleave striping is off as well. The Yankees use a blue, white, blue stripe. Yours just has one of the blue stripes. And they also use a blue belt, not a black one. But other than that, outstanding. Two and a half thumbs up.

It is blue/white/blue on the stripe, but maybe that's just me. |
