What programs do you guys make banners in? like paint or photoshop or what?

I just got photoshop a few days ago and use that. It's probably the best out there, and you can get a trial for free...

I don't believe Paint Shop Photo Album 5 edits the photos but I could be wrong.
the best image editors out there are:
Photoshop
Paint Shop Pro
Gimp
Those are the ones I know about but there are probably hundreds more on the web.

like <body background="something.jpg"> or is it something else?

ok, i got Photoshop and im making a banner. What HTML do you need to put it onto the page? like <body background="something.jpg"> or is it something else? Well make sure the image is on an imaging host like www.photobucket.com. After that, take the url address of the pic and to place it in your signature, just click on Profile >> Modify Profile and scroll down to the 'Signature" section of the Modify Profile. There you should place in something like this
[img]url here[/img]
To display an image on the DC site (like your own dynasty) just place the image on an imaging host and use the following code:
<img src="url here"/>

yea, the picture is going to be my banner on my dynasty.. I'm just setting the site up, since I'm not getting Madden til christmas.
Edit: I feel sorry for Reggie Bush, he's been on my memory card for like 2 months waiting to go to the NFL

Once your Photoshop trial runs out you can use Macromedia Fireworks. That's what I use. It's good, btu not as good as Photoshop.

Ya I personally have developed a passionate hate for photoshop and can never figure it out. so I turned to fireworks which works wonders for me except my trial ran out like 3 months ago. Luckily im in a class at school that has all those designing programs. So when I get bored in class I just make random banners.

Well not really because the program places a file in your OS that updates the last time you downloaded the PhotoShop or whatever and after the 30 days, you can download it again but it will kick you out all the time. the only sure way to keep going on the PS trial is to find that file and edit it so you can use it longer (not delete) or format your harddrive and upload the software again but I didn't tell you any of this since this forum doesn't encourage an of this behavior. |2uff |
