Uh... how hard is it to spell Allan Ray? I vote for #2 because it spelled the players name right and the font is more creative. However, I don't really like #2's either. The font is good, but the way the effect changes the font, it doesn't look that nice. Also, I don't reaqllyh like the quality on either Ray...

Allan or Allen are both proper ways of spelling it. I have never met someone with the spelling "Allan" before so I could see why 'Allen' is used a lot (a more common way of spelling it and it spells like it sounds with a hard 'e')
I picked #2 for the overall look and feel of the sig . Granted both have some improvements to make but #2 doesn't have as many as #1
