Well I don't know if most of you know or not, but I have been in a band about a year now. We have been recording for our first album the past couple of months.
Mainly what we need is a badass logo. The name of the band is The Unknown. We are looking for something dealing with a tribal/skull scheme. So ryan, silver, freak or whoever has time. If you want to design a logo and post it on here.
Here is the deal, if we use the logo on our album or use it period then you will receive some type of payment for your work.

errr... it's tough... that kind of stuff is easier to draw, not create from scratch off of a computer. Especially since it would have to be a vector created because we wouldn't be able to take any skulls or anything. We would have to create our own from nothing.. I personally don't know how. Ryan may though. I'll still look into it for you tho  |

well I was just messing around and came up with this, but I took the skull from another site so you can't use this one. I've somehow gotta make my own skull, don't know how to do that, but I think I've got the general idea on the logo.  |

Thats actually pretty neat looking. We have some pretty good music and we really want to impress them with our graphics. I would sit down and make one but can't find the time. I did throw a few things together but didn't like them very much. I will post them later.
Also, did you just make the background on that transparent? Also, I like the font but it's kinda basic to be for a rock band. If you can't find anything better than thats is reallly good too. Thanks for the help guys.

yea the background is transparent.
Whenever I go in and somehow replace the skull with my own or something else I will change the text I think I found a good one.

You can go so many better directions with a band name other the "The Unknown". There's 100's of MySpace bands with the name, it's not very original, and is going to be a pain in the ass for people to find.
What genre is this stuff?

Rock, we are open to band names by the way. We just chose that right now cause it's easy. Im open to your creative ways keeper.
We had a pretty cool one we thought of but didn't really stick with it. It was "Abyss of a Downfall".

Stay away from a cliche, or truthfully anything generally like, dark. It'd be better to have a band name that's like an inside joke between the band, then one that just sounds cool...
...then again I just title my solo stuff with my name.

I've always found the best way to come up with a band name is when you're smashed as hell... from what I've heard, however, being high as hell won't get you too far, unless you're looking for a total "what the hell?" name...

Call yourselves "Manifest Destiny" and have the logo in an Old Script Font, or an old Western font, and it'd be cool.
