I will be doing a Pack chise, and I want to know if and what I should use. I did a Packer franchise at GameFAQs and had a Freewebs page for it, where I put stuff, go to this: www.freewebs.com/greenbaypackers04/gameresults.htm and tell me what writing I should use, and if it is good. Thanks a lot

Elaborate a little more on the game recap, maybe try to give a quarter-by-quarter breakdown of what happened in the game rather than just a short summary of the game. I'd also try to make your sentences flow together a little more..they seem a little choppy right now. Try using transitions from one sentence to another.

A quarter-by-quarter style recap is usually good, but be sure NOT to include every point scored. If you watch SportsCenter, they don't show all the plays, just the good ones. So only comment on the big on big or unbeliveable plays, especially if it was in a point scoring drive, and even if it was five or six plays back.
And you would usually want to find a way to tie plays together. So after you put some points on the board, you may use "Not willing to let the score slip away, the Browns rushed down the field on the legs of William Green in a drive that was capped off by a twelve yard pass from Tim Couch to Andre Davis."
Writing takes practice, and writing well is a hard feat to master. Not even all profesional journalists have masted great writing techniques, so don't aim to high. The best thing you can do is read what you wrote, then ask yourself "Did I like that? What could I do to make it better?" Sometimes you may proof read a story twenty times before you finally have it to your liking. So stick with it and in no time you'll be a great writer.

awbachelor ive never seen any of your work. but that could mean that its not that nice or u just really new. Any way a quarter bu quarter isnt a good way to write it. its hard to give pointers on writing you really just have to be good at it and practice on getting better.
Aftwer you work for a while it'll get better. Just write a preview on what happend key points and such. Only advice i can think to give ya

No, I'm not new to Dynasty Central, and I'm not a bad writer. I started working with DC when I first got NCAA '03 and my PS2Rosters.com rosters. I ran one season as... (hmmm.. name slipped my mind), but anyway, it was a team I created after I beat Grand Theft Auto 3 (The stadium on the second island had the school's name on it and inside the stadium you could clearly see the word "thingys" written with white seats).
Anyway, it was popular discussion on the GTA3 board a while back becuase I took imput on what people would like to see in it and all. My favorite game was when that reality show (dang it, forgot that name too, but basically it as a mass murder reality show) visited the stadium during the game. I belive I had my QB shot in the foot during the last play when he was trying to score a TD in the last few seconds for a come from behind victory. It was hilarious. The thingys finished 4-9 that season. Pretty good when the highest OVR player was at 75 and you played only Top 25 teams.
I also had an Ohio State one that evolved the story of who should be the starting back, Clarett or Ross when both were rated in the 90's. I was only able to run a few games before I lost the internet service I had. I'm now making my big return, and I plan to be better than ever.
EDIT: Thingies isn't the real team name. The board edited it on me, so just think of South Carolina and take out Game for the name of my team.
