OK. i know madden is going to have superstar mode and everything but i thought i would take it to a new extreme. I am thinking of creating a guy on NCAA 05 that is mediocre and playing every game with him. Then once he graduates as a senior and import him into Madden '05. I would then progress him as best as possible and make him into a stud.
My only problem is where to create him. I am thinking safety,RB,QB, or WR. Your comments on weather this would work or not would be appreciated.

I think it would be really cool. You should make him a RB, and make him like a little below average. Put him on a small name school so that when he makes it to the NFL and becomes good it will be like a cool story how he came from a no name school and became one of the leagues greatest players ever.
Great idea!

that's not really a NEW idea, and it isn't a new "extreme" either, and it would be better to do something nobody else is doing, like an O-lineman or something
i'm doing a running back, and Not25haby was doing a QB, i dunno if he still is, and i know loki is doing a running back, so another runningback would just be white noise, unless it blew people away

Sounds good to me. I'll be doing a running back cause that's my position. But yeah, I don't think I'll be putting it on the DC anyway. I might start a single one that is different though.

I don't think I'll be doing mine on DC unless I really enjoy it and find it will be good to write stories for.

i'm doing mine the same way as my Odessa-Permian thing, pretty much like a dynasty, except all the stats focused on my Heisman/Superstar

im doing it on the 05 game, and i made him a RB from Tulsa i think he is a 79 or something, huge guy kind of like me, 6 4 i think 240 or something. slow like me but has good power. www.dynastycentral.com/dynasty/dynasty.asp?ID=11695i dont plan on using a ton of HTML till i get to the Madden part of it, since it will only be 4 years at Tulsa so i figure once Madden starts i will utalize HTML more

i got a question ASM, what if ur player doesnt go pro, i mean you cant force them to do it. they have to do it willingly (sp).

As long as his player ends his career in the mid 80's or 90's ratingwise, he's going pro. If not, creating a players not out of the question. Because you cant get drafted and then take that team, you have to have a team before draft day, automaticly making his choice what team he plays for.

well here is what i plan on doing. Simulate a season of madden to the draft. Trade with the team with the first pick then draft him, that way I am the only team who has a chance.
EDIT: As for Clayton, i did it becuase it pretains to both boards. and some people dont look at the madden that look at the NCAA board and vice versa

You are doing a good job. I'd never have the paitence to go 4 years through college AND into the pros. By the way, what are his stats?

Cool. Im definatly going to follow. I did this with MVP. I made aguy and put him in AA balland worked him up to a starter in the pros. I think when he was like 28 he made his first All-Star Game appearance, and won the MVP twice. Once when he was 29, and again when he was 33.
Good luck with yours looks like its going to be a really good dynasty.

thanks for the reply. And i have found that if u stop at half time and do the first half recap then play the 2nd half and do that recap u get more wiriting that way.
