What do you draft first offense or defense? I did one today and I drafted all of my defensive players first. My defense is crazy. Ray Lewis, Roy Williams, Tank Williams, Keith Bulluck, Terrell Suggs, and a ton of other good guys. My offense is not all that good. My QB is AJ Feely, RB Thomas Jones, and my main WR is Chris Chambers. I did get Robert Gallery and Olin Kreutz though so that is pretty cool.

i draft offense even though its better to draft defense. i have more fun with a good offense than with a great defense

I draft a Great Defense, but you have to know how if your doing it about technique.
What you do is draft your Defensive Backs first, in my case it was Brian Dawkins and Ed Reed. You have to have someone on defense so pick upo a Runningback(Ahman Green or Portis). Then with that, you can select your fianl two DB's. Then you can draft a # of speedy Linebackers.
Dont ever draft any DE's, j/ draft backup LB's for that. Get a beefy DL or 2 late late int he draft, and make sure you get speedy WR's.
That way, any QB will get it to a WR who can burn, your RB does everything else, and you have the best Defensive backs, because in my case..... I'll stop the run all day, but the corners give it up. With the best DB's, and speedy LB's at every other position, you cant lose.

You can wait on drafting those DB's though. At least the safties. They always take a few rounds to go. So if I have the chance to get Ray Lewis I do, than maybe corners and the other LB's than the safties. For me I guess it just depends on what the other teams do.

I went heavy on the offense in my current chise, with that ole fantasy draft.
What I did was basically pick up a couple of good, young wide outs (including Moss) and then picked up my o-line. Then all I needed was to pick up the TE and FB. Then I got Bettis to just pound folks every once in a while, and finally got Big Ben, who has 20 TDs in five games in year two.
My defense isn't as good, but I did pick up T. Suggs, Tank Williams and Roy Williams. Then there was two rookie DEs hanging around and I got them. So our defense is good enough to do the job, but it's a high flying offense that did the job for us.
