I've run into a little problem with my Broncs dynasty. Last night after I had finished playing my game against the Chargers and saved it and all that good stuff, I got up to go turn the PS2 off and go to bed. Since it was like 11:30, I was tired and a little clumsy...I was still holding the controller in my hand and when I stepped forward, I stepped on the cord of the controller - pretty much pulling the PS2 off the shelf of the entertainment center it was on and down to the ground.
Luckily, the PS2 wasn't damaged, but my Madden disc now has scratches on it from taking the 2 foot fall. I can still play for short periods of time, but it skips when I try to play my next game while it's loading, and it won't let me get into my stats and everything like that.
Because of all of this, I'll be forced to put the Broncos dynasty on hold until I can get the disc fixed up, or at least buy/rent a new copy.
Think I could get away with renting and then switching the discs? lol

probably I have done it twice now the key is to get the strip they scan off and transfer it without taking off to much of the sticky backing. However you can take it to EB Games and they will repair it for you.

Yeah you can do it to blockbuster. They wont even know. I did that like once or twice. Someone will end up renting it then take it back and Blockbuster will repair it.

How much would it cost to get 3-4 scratches fixed up?

I did the switch disks trick back when I had 2004. Rented the game and switched them off, they never noticed.

I never even thought about switching it up like this last year when my 2004 copy got scratched. I probably would've been too scared to do it anyway.
