that's very interesting, but i don't think your attributes should be affected if your dad's a heart surgeon and your mom's a lawyer or whatever
i know a guy whose parents were never good at any sport, meanwhile he's an unbelievable linebacker with great speed and such
so, i just think that's a little stupid, it's somewhat realistic, but stupid
other than that, the game looks pretty solid, now i'm torn between doing Race For Heisman/NFL Superstar instead of a regular dynasty lol

That is going to be amazing. Everything looks awesome in it. I have to agree with r3dn3k about the parents influencing attributes.

It is mest up because like nearly all of Stefan Lefors (Louisville quarterback last year) relatives are blind or have very poor eye sight. Yet he had some of the best vision in college football last year as a quarterback. So this isn't a great idea imo.

Yeah, but genetics do play a large part in what we are, look like, ect. If your mother, for example, has a high IQ it would make sense that you would be able to learn an offense quicker and things like that. It's not an end all because there are some resessive genes that'll pop up, like in the case of Stefan Lefors who had good eye sight while his family had none.
Still though, the genes and stuff do make a differance I think in what kind of player a guy will end up at. It's not an end all, but it does factor in more than most want to admit.

Yeah I agree, it does play a factor, but it shouldn't have too much of an effect on the player. It is good as long as it doesn'r have a over the top effect on the game, and from the sounds of things it won't.

I think that the DNA is a great idea for it. Especially you can make it to somewhat resemble yourself. You could give the DNA similar to what your actual parents are like. I have always been a fan of create-a-player and things such as that because I love putting myself in the role of superstars that I look up to. I think that this is one of the best things that EA has brought to Madden players since well forever.
