Okay, back to when you created Dynasty Central, what was your way of advertising this site? We know how it is now, since a lot of people here advertise it on certain game boards and stuff, but how did you advertise for DC back before it was like it is now?
And did you expect it to be this good of a success?

Sammy, the only real advertising of the site was by word of mouth. I had posted it on a few NCAA football-related boards and that was about it. After that, I guess the word spread, to an extent.
I didn't expect DC to get too big, and I think it could probably be a lot bigger than it is now, if I had been more agressive in marketing it. But it was never a goal of mine to "take over the Internet" so to speak. I'm quite pleased with the popularity it has now, although I think there are some social issues that could be improved upon.
Hope that anwers your question.

I'm sure I did-but it was probably only used for testing functionality before the site went live. Most of the code that the site is based off of came from a shared dynasty I did with a few other friends, where each person had a team and the site was geared around 4 teams, and that was it.

Here is something ive always wanted to know, being the admin do you read any dynasties around here currently, or dynastues back in the day. If so, maybe name a few of your favorites, or stuff you look for in a dynasty.
