Users of the Dynasty Central Forum,
In response to the placement of guidelines for the forums, the moderators will be enforcing rules. Beginning 24 hours from now, rules will be vigorously enforced regarding vulgarities and statements of a sexual nature.
The word censor on the forum will be removed. This will allow for Dan thingyau and JJ Redthingy to be finally talked about. This, in turn, will not allow for people to claim "I didn't curse because the forum censored it."
ANY usage of a vulgarity or unnecessary sexual connotations at all will result in a warning by the administrator or moderators. All warnings will be presented in the form of a Private Message to your forum screen name. Each warning will be documented among the moderators as action is taken.
Each user will be limited to TWO (2) violations before being banned from the forums on the subsequent violation. There are no compromises about this at all.
A violation consists of usage of a curse/vulgar word outright, or masking characters. Whether the word is directly written or includes asterisks (*), the usage is a violation none the less. Therefore, the usage of sh*t or shyt both are the same thing as writing it out, and will be a violation of the forum guidelines.
Very simply, if you wouldn't turn the word into a professor/teacher, then do not use it on these forms. This first day period is a grace period to make everyone aware of the enforcement. Violations of the rules during this 24 hour period will be handled as normal, but the offender will receive a reminder to clean up their act.
A violation will be on the users' record for a period of SIX (6) months from the date issued. Therefore, your violations will be removed over time such as performed in many aspects in the real world.
Any questions regarding these rules may be directed to the administrator or moderators. These rules are in place and will be enforced in a matter where there is no area of confusion. A violation is a violation and there are no ways to get around them. This may be just the first step of many to come to better these forums. By cleaning up the language of DC, we the staff, hope to in turn clean up the forums as a whole.
