i do not know how to do html and i have barely enough time to play my games let alone learn html. i suggest you try to implement a more user friendly part of site where if you don't know html you can enter your info and it will convert into a html code and you just copy and paste. i see alot of people having problems and everyone just types go learn at w3schools. i owuld be able to make my dynasty and i'm sure alot more other peoples looking nicer with less time spent on finding out how to do these long ass codes. for now i just play games and keep it simple casue its not worth all the time i would waste to put in a layout or table. just an idea people can pick html or not when they start dynasty so those who like html can still do it.

The answer here is simple man.
All you have to do is put at the top of your page you don't know HTML so don't rate. HTML isn't the basis of the site, just something some people like to do to add a little flair. I'm sure no one will mind if you just post stories.

Yeah mos people that rate rate mostly on writing, realism, and depth. HTML is only like 3 or 3 out of 10 points, and if you don't hve HTML at all I'm sure people will just rate your writing more harshly than those with HTML.
Or you can just ask someone to make you a layout or something.

Dude, check out my dynasty...it's unbelievable how bad the HTML is, aside from a couple tables which I made using Microsoft Frontpage, but whatever, a small fan-base likes it (I think), and more importantly, I have fun doing it. Believe me, if you can write with some sort of professionalism/humour/awesomeness, you can succeed and still enjoy what you're doing. Alternatively, head on over to the ever crappy www.dynastymanager.com ... fork up some money (not sure how much), and input you're stuff into some boxes so that they pop up nicely in organized tables, even though like 30 people actually go on dynasty manager. When I came to this site, I knew absolutely zero html. Zero. However, if you can pick up some basics, like putting in a picture, putting in a link, putting in a very simple table, you can get started. Eventually, what I did was just dig around on websites such as w3schools, and doing things like right-clicking on someone elses dynasty to look up the "source code", which gives you all the HTML that was used. I'm not saying plagerize, but if you want to see how some people do some cool things like marquees or rollover links, you can learn from other dynasties. Basically what I'm saying is, some of the fun of DC is learning a bit of HTML and writing skills at the same time as enjoying playing sports video games. Honestly, what could be better? If you actually read this post, you rule, because I really went on and on and on...but hopefully you see what I mean. </rant>

If you have good writing, no HTML doesn't matter. People don't seem to understand this. Nobody will care if you don't have HTML if you have good writing.
Maybe a simple table or two if you can, but even without that, it's still not bad.
You overestimate the importance of HTML on this site. Learning HTML is not required to create a dynasty, never has been. If you don't wanna do it, that's just fine. Just write, write, write.
If you really do want to learn HTML, there's plenty of programs out there that create these "long ass codes" with minimal input from the user. Bottom line is, learning HTML is fun and can be quite beneficial in the future.
But if you don't want to learn it or don't have time, I highly doubt you'll get rated down for it except by some noobs who think HTML means everything and writing means nothing.
