I didn't know everyone liked him. I remember watching him fight Marion Barber last year and I got to liking both... I'm going to have to look into another player to draft with the 2nd of 3 first round picks.

Fighting Barber? He had that starting job sewed up all season long.

He was talking about the 2004 season, where both of them had 1000+ yards.

There's a good chance Maroney can succeed in the NFL. He's the big, bruiser type back that seem to thrive now. He's almost like a smaller, more compact Bus.

With the 18th Pick in the 2006 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys have decided to draft ... #90 Rodrique Wright, defensive tackle out of the national champion University of Texas Longhorns... The Cowboys have selected Rod because of the recent release of Pro-Bowler, the one man hole plug La'Roi Glover after 4 years of service.

*Jami's grandmother walks up to podium, gives V-for-victory sign, and holds up Broncos jersey* Another brilliant screw-up by Minnesota....they can't even pick an available guy Wright was a little high, but you can't argue with the logic....and everything else I've seen looks good. Unis coming soon.

*Andy Reid waddles onto the platform where Chris Berman, Mel Kiper, and others are sitting. He is wearing a home green Haloti Ngata jersey of which barely fits.*
Andy Reid: "We're not done Chris, we're not done. We have another player in mind and I'm not leaving until this kid's joining Haloti at our press conference tomorrow."

I was in the air about who I wanted, I had three options and went on defense because there wasn't a QB I wanted.
Hopefully the guy I wanted can fall to the second round, or I'll just pick another up at that position.

Berman: Sorry Coach, it looks as if the San Diego Chargers have come to a decision, will it be the receiver like Mel thinks, here we go...
Pablo: "With the 19th pick in the NFl Draft, the San Diego Chargers select...(Brief Pause).... Jimmy Williams Cornerback, Virginia Tech."

I'M CHRIS BERMAN DAMNIT!
*Chris Berman...the REAL one...* Not a bad pick....their secondary's not the best, and Williams is a good player.

So....turnin's got a temporary ban (don't ask) and I was leaning toward taking control of KC in this unique situation - Alex wants to trade for the pick and I want to make sure it's fair. Any objections?

*Paul Tagliabue* We have a trade....
The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired the 20th pick from Kansas City in exchange for LB Mark Simoneau, QB Mike McMahon, and the 46th pick in the 2006 Draft.
Therefore, the Eagles are on the clock...

With Brian Leonard available in the draft at Fullback in the 2nd round, it amazes me Philly takes LenDale white to play that position. Especialy when he's never played the position and has had previous history being unable to pass block for Matt... But then again, any fadt big guy who can runs a Fullback these days. With that said...
The Denver Broncos select Tye Hill, Cornerback out of Clemson University...
