I say Rodney Harrison. The guy is just great. I feel people don't notice him that much because of the fact that he is on the Pats defense. He works hard to understand the entire game of football. I think that Troy Polamalu is a very close 2nd. He is like a second linebacker to that Pittsburgh defense. He is amazing as well.

I'm voting for Troy because he makes the big plays, he's a technique tackler, and minimizes his mistakes every game. However, he's not yet that #1 Safety in the league I think about in the NFL. He's no Rod Woodson or Carnell Lake in Pittsburgh yet, but because he's better than the rest he gets the vote.
Had Roy Williams not fallen off, I would have voted for him, because I am begining to think everyones picking people who have currently done well and not who simply are the best.

Polamalu is extremely overrated, I'd take Harrison any day.
