Well, with the Saints getting Brees, they no longer need a quarterback. Or they could draft him anyways and develop him over a few years. Either way, you couldn't lose.
That being said, I don't know for sure if he is going to pan out like a Leinart-type pocket passer. Hopefully where ever Young ends up, he gets with a top-notch QB's coach, who will correct his sidearm delivery. Being 6'5" and getting passes knocked down...that's a problem that must be corrected.

I think we need to get these scouts a video of the Rose Bowl I'm sure they saw it but defenses in the NFL are a bit different and not as dumb as the USC defense was that night. The game winning touchdown was so easy to call and yet..they weren't ready? Plenty of quarterbacks do good in college and then suck in the NFL so you can't go by his performance in the Rose Bowl alone.

Vince Young is used to seeing the defense from the shotgun. Most NFL teams run an offense that is under center. It will be harder for Vince to read the defenses. That is what was hard for Alex Smith. Look at David Carr, he had a side arm delivery. It was easily fixed for him. My favorite was when the Texans had him throwing over ladders and such.

Come on this is Vince Young- he aint falling out of the top 10. If the Cards get him though- I am buying his jersey; the cardinals new jerseys are sweet

PTI was saying that the Titans may pick him over Leinart. That would really surprise me considering Norman Chow (USC's old OC) is there. But stranger things have happened.

Leinart has this whole "Broadway Matt" thing going on. He would be better off in Tennessee with Chow. Young would be a good fit in Arizona, as well, or with the Jets.
