I wonder if Marinelli had any influence in picking Sims, being a defensive-minded coach. If they wanted a LB, they should have gone to a guy like Chad Greenway.
I feel for ya DB. McCown and Kitna just aren't it.

I don't even have a bright side to this. There is no silver lining. None. We just passed up a franchise quarterback for a linebacker who could become good, but not great. There is no logic. If you're gonna pass up a franchise QB, at least pick for a need! OLB wasn't a glaring need!
