sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2441034So is Jimmy Smith a hall of famer? They were talking about it on Mike and Mike this morning and they said that out of the last 10 years he is something like 2nd in receptions, yards, and td's. And 1st in 1,000 yard seasons. But when you think Hall of Famer, the name Jimmy Smith...doesnt fit, IMO. So I'm really on the fence about his hall chances.

That's because he doesn't dance when he scores and his team never has never really had any buzz...

I think Jimmy Smith deserves the hall of fame. He is a great player that made big plays game in and game out, he just didn't show them off like McGahee said.

How can you not put Jimmy Smith in the Hall of Fame just because he was never on a great team and was cursed with being stuck in poor market Jacksonville? The only player in NFL history with more receptions on one team is Jerry Rice.

I am really shocked not a lot of people have been on this. I was shocked when I saw this, upset as well. Jimmy was one of my favorite players for some reason. Just a cool guy, and was the face of the Jags. (At least in my eyes.) He should be a Hall Of Famer, yet again, Art Monk isn't.
