The NFL Greatest Teams Tournament

I thought of this idea a little back and now I am finally putting it into action.

The Info:
This will be a tournament of the best teams from the past 16 years. 48 teams will qualify for the field. The 16 Super Bowl winners from the past 16 years will have first round byes and home field advantage in the second round. The remaining 32 teams will be picked by you. These teams must be from the past 16 years. (Post 1990 season) I will do another with early teams after this tournament. The determined higher seed will gain homefield advantage in the first round. After the second round, home field is determined by seed. The championship game will be held at a neutral site.

The 32 Choices[/u]
This is where you come in. What I will ask is that you nominate a team you feel is worthy to be in this tournament. In order for the team to get into the tournament, it needs to be seconded by another user. These will be done by a first come, first in basis. Please only nominate one at a time. I don't care how many you nominate, but just one per post.

For example: Freak93 nominates the 2004 Philadelphia Eagles

Another user seconds the 2004 Philadelphia Eagles nomination.

The Fun[/u]
There will also be some fun in this. Each user will be given $700 virtual dollars to bet on games. If you bet on the underdog and win, you will get back a higher amount of money based on the odds of the game. Also, you will be given $300 virtual dollars for over/unders on individual player statistics. This money will remain serperate until the 4th round. All bets must be placed to me through private message. I will keep an updated tally of money after each round. ** TO JOIN PM ME**

That about covers it. If there are any changes or additions, I will update it in the thread. I do plan on starting a DC page to make this all a little more organized.

I second the 91 Bills, that team was monsterous (so were the 91 Skins, that must've been a damn good SB)

But ya Kelly threw for 3844 yards and 33 tds.

James Lofton caught 57 balls for 1072 and 8 scores
and Andre Reed caught 81 for 1113 yards and 10 scores

Then add the halfback, Thurman Thomas. Who rushed for 1407 yards and 7 touchdowns.

#1 offense for sure

I am going to set a deadline as well. If we don't get the 32 teams by a certain time, I will put in the remaining number of teams needed.
