This is a sad days for us Chiefs fans, Roaf just retired we take a big hit on this one. It kinda pisses me off becuz he talked Will Shields into not retiring and he goes off an does it himself.

And Larry Johnson takes another hit. My LT pick feels better already.

We're going to see just how good LJ is now without such a powerful line and fullback to block for him. I still think the guy is a great runningback, but this season is going to take more of a tole on him.

I'm not cought up in the Larry Johnson deal im sorry. Regardless, a cheifs RB is going to make things happen just like in Denver. He's good, but not elite or a Top 5 Fantasy pcik like some say.
It's funny that people are just now talking about Ladanian Tomlinson and having to pick between the two. I'd take Tomlinson in any draft at any pick. I would have taken him 3 years ago. The guys been a stud since college.
As for Roaf.... had he been exposed more earlier in his career, hed had made every pro-bowl and wed be talking hall-of-fame. Quite simple.

I agree with the stuff about LT. That is why I took him over LT in the DC draft.

The only thing he was good for was when DB used him against me in Athlete Name Game.

I would have joined the DC fantasy football but I always think its a bad decision to draft before pre-season

well i took LJ first pick. Are you regretting it now? Even if he doesn't have as great of a season as he did last year, you'd be just stupid to assume that starting 7 more games this season would give him any less than the same amount of yards and still a good amount of touchdowns. I can understand why people would pick Alexander or LT first, because it's pretty much a toss-up IMO... 5.2 YPC won't be matched, but because a fullback and offensive linemen retired, he won't have a bad year because of it...

Well, that fullback was a monster. Not to mention he lost his right guard and tackle. Bringing Kyle Turley in their doesn't help things. I am not saying Turley will be awful, but it is hard to say how he will play since he hasn't played in a while.

One word about this post: Ugh. Honestly, who cares if he wasn't exposed enough early in his career? He played in small-market New Orleans, so it's tough anyways. The guy was a stud where ever he played, made 11 Pro-Bowls in 13 seasons, and was the most dominating tackle in the late 90's to now aside of Orlando Pace. He'll be in the HOF, mark it down. No brainer to me. About LJ, to say that he isn't a top-5 fantasy pick isn't a stretch, but to say that he's just a "good" RB that is the product of a system is ridiculous. To get over 1,700 yards while starting just nine games is nothing short of miraculous, regardless of what "system" you play in. No Denver back, not even Terrell Davis, can say he did that. He was an "elite" back, don't you think?

Just to add to bearcat's post, Priest Holmes can't even say that, and he was in the damn system...
