I am excited to announce that the pre-season starts this sunday, with the Hall of Fame game on Sunday Night Football brought to you by NBC with John Madden and Al Michaels.
The Philladelphia Eagles will look to start the new year on a new foot and forget last seasons dismal display of football and try and match that of there 3 strait NFC Championship games.
The Oakland Raiders are on ground zero inbetween re-building and keeping the crop that they have. They didn't get much better, but lost alot of talent. Once NFL's most dominant team and most succesfull franchise, now the laughing stock of professional sports.
Who wins? As if that wont persuad you already. Me being a Raider fan, it hurt a little, but the truth hurts.

I vote for a tie.. 0-0.. not because of great defense.. because of horrific offense

NFL Preseason is not too high on my priority list right now, nor has it ever been... but I'll say Eagles for the hell of it...

Raiders, thanks to a early TD throw from Brooks-to-Moss. Then Andrew Walters comes in and throws a lights out quarter to end it. I want the Raiders mostly because of my inner hate for the Eagles

Im pretty pshyced about this upcoming game. Im going to be cheering for McNabb and the crew just because I want to see Aaron Brooks do horrible cause I hate him.
Anyways, I love pre-season just as much as any other games cause it's still football, there is still a winner and hard hits and everything. Plus I get to see my Reggie Bush tear it up for my New Orleans Saints...

The Eagles offense is not horrific. I know it is now the best but to say it is horrific is far fetched. Our receivers you may be able to say that for, but we have a top 5 QB, a talented RB, and a young talented OL. I do want the Eagles to win and I think they will, but I really do not know much aobut the Raiders and their back ups. From what I have seen with the Eagles, they have a lot of guys who have some poetential. I know Andy Reid is not going crazy though. I think he wants to test some players earlier, and try some plays out. I think he will key in on the receivers and running backs. Those two positions are going to be the hardest to make cuts at.

Not only did Aaron Brooks overthrow everyone, Marques Tuiasosopo tried heaving bombs all day and was very inaccurate and Andrew Walter looked like a 4th round rookie.
Lamont Jordan didnt have the speed to get away from the quick defenders that the offensive line couldnt hold. They couldnt pass block or run block worth anything.
However...
The defense looked very succesful. Sure the 1st team Eagles beat them, but with Wahsington and Asomughu starting at CB's it's very simple to state that the rest of the team played extraordinarily well. Thomas Howard looked great for a rookie.
Eagles looked good
Raiders got the win

Yeah the Eagles did great with their first team in. The D-Line looked great. Our rotation will be great. The offensive line did great in opening holes for Westbrook as well. It was just scary to see Bruce Perry go down like that. He is okay thank God.
