I'm going to do something really simple. Don't get excited.
I need you guys to pick a position for a superstar mode dude.
And while you're at it, name suggestions are welcome.

I choose OLB. I figure there are going to be alot of offensive guys with these and that it'd probably be more fun to do a defensive guy especially one at linebacker.

I know Superstar is all about being in control of only your dude, but Quarterback allows you to control the game while still getting an individual player appeal. I would like to see if you can take a QB and turn him into a hall of famer.
I have no suggestions on storylines
The majority of the people I know are going with defense.

No very many safeties take returns so that'd be unique. Although, I do remember Brock Marion took some kicks back for Miami back a few yrs ago.

J.R. Reed does it because he is the man.

Tight end it is I guess, though not a single person who voted for it posted about it. And all your name suggestions suck, so I'll keep thinking about that. EDIT: My dad ended up being a "great NFL TE" so this will be Mike Ditka's fictional son, Jay Ditka.

Tight end is pretty lame in Superstar... although the way my halfback is going now, it might not be that bad. Once I get my PS2 fixed, I'm going to try a safety or linebacker one, since I hear that those are much better...
Are you gonna be using sliders for SS? Because I haven't really found any that are actually good for this mode, since my regular All-Madden sliders are all funky and you can't use a default without getting crazy numbers...

I think SS all depends on the team you go to. I made it great as a half back for the Broncos. It would suck though if you get sent to a team like Philadelphia. Not running the ball would suck a lot.

The way SS works (I believe) is only certain teams are eligible to draft you depending on what position you are. So a MLB would not be drafted by Baltimore or Chicago, nor would a QB be taken by the Bengals or Colts...
