Living in Tampa Bay, everyone has been calling this game a cupcake. Tampa fans beleive that the team can go 12-4 or 13-3 and start so by killing Baltimore. All I hear is how great Tampa is and how Baltimore has no chance.
It's nice to see that Baltimore took 10 minutes off the clock on a 14 play 80 yard drive on there first possesion for 7 points lol. I can only hope it continues.
All this hype about Carnell Williams and Chris Simms is rediculous...

Man Hasselbeck is stinking it up while my bench QB's Vick and McNair are tearing it up, Vick has 20 plus points sitting on my bench. Grrr...

It's so nice to see Baltimore destroy the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay....
Anyone see that goaline hit Lewis gave Pittman?

You know I did!! I enjoyed every minute of todays game, and quite frankly this team backed up my belief that we were going to come in with intensity and win this road game. If we play like this all season, I have no doubt we'll be a contender this year.
Ray Lewis crushed Pittman though, that was great. It definetely looks like Ray and this defense are back. Steve McNair and the offense also looked pretty good against a stingy Bucs defense.
I love the big opening victory, I just hope we keep this mindset and dont get layed back at home next week against Oakland. I know it should be an easy game, but you can never get layed back in an NFL game because anything can happen.
Needless to say, I was very impressed by my team this week.

Baltimore might be the ONLY team I was impressed with this week so far.

I see what you are saying Leak. You have to take every game seriously. I think when the Eagles started the game they did not think the Texans would be that bad of a threat, they were. Good thing AR is smart and the Texans have guys that bite on amazing play actions because of Donovan McNabb being a magician in hiding the football behind himself.

I personally like the first sack by Ray Lewis
My step-dad and I were talking about how Simms had a new brown mark on his uniform after seeing Lewis rushing in like he did. Reed might be on the shelf for a game or two, after that interception he looked a bit shaken, plus he was down earlier. I also think that Boller is still not any good... fumbling a snap.... THE NERVE!

Haha, Boller coming into the game made me a bit nervous considering I had Baltimore's defense on my main fantasy team and wanted to hold our shutout. I just envisioned Boller fumbling a snap or throwing a pick and it getting returned for a touchdown.. Then, just like I expected he loses the snap.
The sack from Ray Lewis was really good as well. I dont think Reed will miss any time, he did look a bit shaken up but he stayed in the game so I believe he'll be fine next week.

I had Baltimore too.... That, Dante Stallworth and Kurt Warner are going to win me this week on their own.
Bart Scott looked good as always... it's good to see he's going to get alot of calls, and alot of showtime. People will know who Bart Scott is before the seasons over.

Yeah I believe both Adalius Thomas and Bart Scott are two of the most underrated linebackers in the league, and thats not me being biased as a Ravens fan. If those two were playing on other teams they would be better known thats for sure. We've never had a problem finding those late round linebackers though, look how Ed Hartwell turned out a few years ago before leaving for Atlanta.
Also, did anyone else see the Haloti Ngata interception? I wonder if he's the first DT to get an interception in his first career game, that would be an interesting stat to find out. Either way, thats pretty rare and I was impressed he even made it as far as he did which was I think 60 some yards. He just had no gas left when he got around the 10 yard line.

That was funny seeing him run down there with the ball. Bunkely didn't get one though. As for Adalius Thomas, I know he is underrated. You and I have talked about him before. He is a monster.

Yeah, I know we have Freak. Im sure most of our knowledgeable football fans know about Adalius. The sad thing is, its most of the "so called experts" that wouldnt even know who he is if we had brought him up to them. All you'd hear is Ray Lewis, Ed Reed which I guess you could say is understandable.
I have to say though, last week I was more impressed with Bart Scott than Adalius Thomas although I think our whole defense played great. But thats not saying much for Bart considering he did have two sacks in the game.
