On Madden how many minutes (accelerated clock, too perhaps?) do you use for realistic results?

I go with 5 minutes quarters in my one fantasy draft dynasty. I am right up there in most statistics. My punting and kicking are mostly less but other than that I am good. I have Donovan McNabb as a top 5 passer, Willie Parker in the top 4 in rushing, and my recievers are producing well. No accelerated clock.

i play 5 minutes and through 5 games my top tackler has only like 26 tackles. While the league leader is like up to 45. I need to find out how to get those tackles up. No accelerated clock.

I have that same issue. I missed that one. My leading tackler is Chris Hope. I have the poetential at linebacker too. They just don't put up huge tackle numbers. I have Larry Foote and he has about 2 less than Hope.

See, all of my other players are fine. It is just that the linebackers aren't getting enough tackles.

ya same. Actually Roy Williams leads my Cowboys in tackles. See, I am thinking it happens to me because I often play my safties down in the box. I just don't think it would take that many tackles away from them.

I play 12 minutes, accelerated clock. I have really realistic stats from it, as well with my Bengals.

How long do games usually take Sportsbuck. Like real minutes wise with the 12 minute accelerated clock. I dont wanna spend more than like 40 minutes on one game.

Well...I can answer this...I still play Madden 06, being I don't have 07 yet. I asked this question, because I don't really get the results I want, but that could be, that I merely suck. First of all, if you do 5 minute quarters, you get that done in under 40 minutes? When I do that...it takes me from like 50 to sometimes 60 minutes to finish. For 12 minutes, accelerated clock it normally takes 50-70 minutes...for me.

Well for me, it depends. I played a game against Carolina, a lot of scoring. So it took me an hour. In other games, I can usually get done in 40. I run the ball and wait until the playclock is under 10. What hurts me is that I look at a ton of replays.

Well, I usually do 12 min acc clock, and I have really great statistics. I think the whole tackling problem is, that with me, I don't have a player that makes 10+ tackles a game. Its spread out between the team.
I think it is just a glitch or something, because when I play the cpu, the same guy is always around the tackles...

I run a very complicated scheme, but it works as I usually do have a couple 100+ tacklers per season.
I play 11 minute quarters with accelerated clock on only when the home team has the ball in the first half and only when the away team has the ball in the second half.

I play with 8 minutes a quarter. I play Safety and can get 10-15 tackles, but everyone else gets maybe 4 or 5. I dont think I could play an 11 minute quarter game if accelerated clock wasnt always on lol.
