Last year, every other day or so my friend would come over for like 2 hours and we'd play some Madden. We decided to do a dynasty, but I didn't want to be biased with an offensive star, so we both created a player we were going to only use on defense.
I played Safety and he played Middle Linebacker. The worst team at those positions was the Houston Texans and our Dynasty was on it's way. Thankfuly, we had a choir thing on a saturday morning, so I had him spend the night and we ended up playing like 8 games. That started our steak.
Over 7 season in the NFL with the Houston Texans we had built a franchise. We had drafted a star runningb ack in Lester Looman and a breakout wide receiver with 99 speed(We claim he had a second gear, due to his ability to throw deep and him break on the ball) in Craig Carter. We signed a few veterns since our start and players like Antwan Peek and Dunta Robinson were household names.
We reached the playoffs in our 2nd year and the superbowl in our 5th. We lost our first time, but in year 7 we finaly beat the Bears(three of last four). After we had both had MVP defensive seasons, it was time to leave Houston.
We played 3 seasons in Chicago, one in Cleveland and 2 more back in Houston to try and re-build what had been destroyed after we left.
After 13 years in the NFL we retired..... His Linebacker has 1566 tackles with 56 sacks and 65interceptions. My safety had 1894 tackles with 164 sacks and 48interceptions.
The best I ever played......
I'm current in my first season running the ball with Cleveland with Greg Jones, Williams Green & Reuben Droughns. 56 tackles in first 5 games. I re-made Michael Robinson as a Quarterback and he's a baller.
That was long and I apologize..... what was your best Off-DC Dynasty...

I went to 2026 on 06 with a team called the Trenton Thunder. Just like Darjar's originial Tornadoes talent-wise.
I won like 8 super bowls in 21 years.
Edit: My current one is a test with the Panthers. I am through 11 games, and I'm currently sitting at 8-3, with pretty hard sliders on All-Madden.

I bet that was hella fun N2s. Ive always wanted to do that with a friend we just have never ended up doin it. Sounds hella fun. I have one with the Cowboys off DC and Im in my thrid season and I've got Chris Leak who is one of the best in the league and is hella dangerous with the Steve Smith I got in the draft (USC). Also I just drafted Steve Slaton and have got a defensive star in like James Johnson or something (Safety from Miss. St.)
So after going 5-11, and like 6-10, Im in my third season with like 5 uprising stars and I have started out 3-0 so far, so its looking like a good year.

I think Steve Slaton is this year's Reggie Bush in Madden draft classes. He is unstoppable on toss plays, and inside runs.

I have a dynasty currently going with a friend where we are in our third season. I own the New York Giants and he has the Washington Redskins since we wanted to play each other once out of the two times a year. We play about 6-7 games and sim the rest per season.
In our first two years so far he won the division in the first after he beat my Giants 24-17 and the winner won the division and made playoffs. He made it to the divisional round but lost to New Orleans.
In our second year he went 9-7 and won his last five, while I went 12-4 but couldnt get a first round bye and lost to Philadelphia in the wildcard round at home 24-6. Philly went 11-5 last year and we swept them during the regular season.
In the two games me and my friend have played each other, ive won both with the first year going into overtime and last season my Giants winning by a field goal. During this third season so far he's 1-4 and im 4-0.
One of the best parts has been the competition between Sinorice and Santana Moss. Last year Sinorice had 910 yards and 10 TDs in the slot while my friend stole my scheme moving Santana into the slot and totaled over 1300 yards and 13 TDs. Unfortunately, a preseason injury is going to keep Sinorice out for the 2008 season.

Wow NoT25hAbY, how did you friend have less tackles and more interceptions than you. Shouldn't the safety have more interceptions and the linebacker have more tackles?
For me, I had a 6 year dynasty with Oregon right when I got my first playstation 2 using NCAA football 03. I was good, but not good enough to ever win the national championship. I think after the first year I was ranked 6th for the next 5 years.

Well on last years Madden, me and a friend got real deep in it. We only made it to 2009 which was four seasons of play. Every freshman on NCAA 06 was now on madden...
We played every single game and didn't sim not one thing. I controlled the Ravens, while he went with Pittsburgh. After my first season, I drafted Brodie Croyle who turned out to be awesome for me. What was good though was Reggie Bush stayed for his Senior year and I was able to pick him up in our second draft.
I finally made it to the playoffs after two seasons, and won the superbowl two consecutive seasons. He made the playoffs both those seasons but was put out by me.

Wow NoT25hAbY, how did you friend have less tackles and more interceptions than you. Shouldn't the safety have more interceptions and the linebacker have more tackles? At Safety, I was farther back from the line of scrimage than him. That made it easier to read the play and bolt to where I think the runningback was going. He was closer to the line, so he got blocked easier. He got the majority of the interceptions for some odd know reason. Twice he has 10 interceptions in a season. The computer would just throw to where he knew it was going. I led the league in sacks a few times and had more than him because alot of stunt plays. It was different. It was also fun because David Carr got injured, so we started Casey Bramlet and he played quite well. In two seasons, his overall was from 64 to 94 and when we left Houston(we made everyone else leave also to see what they do) he tore it up and won 2 MVP's in Oakland.

I play every year a dynasty with a team I create called the Los Angeles Storm. Before Arizona got their stadium deal, I would re-locate them, but last year I relocated San Francisco. After drafting Reggie Bush, I pretty much dominated like those two back in the High School. It took me 5 seasons to win a Super Bowl, then I won 3 straight. It was a lot of fun, I might do it this year and start a D.C. page for it, not sure.

A buddy of mine and I had a dual dynasty going that went about ten seasons our first year of college, I started at Arizona, and he started at Auburn. Our fourth season, I played his team, UNC in the title game, with me winning 50-49 in four OT's. Amazing game. He took UNC from 5-5 to the title game in one year, and his recruiting paid huge dividends, and whenever we played, I got dominated. I moved on to Iowa State after that season I won the NC, and stayed there for five years, winning two Big 12 Championships, but no NC's. I then played one last season, leaving ISU for Minnesota, and I inherited a really bad team, going 7-5 in my only season there before the school year ended. At UNC, my friend won three NC's.
Fun stuff.

I'm playing one with my friend Aaron, we finished our first season as Super Bowl Champs using the Bears, he controlled Urlacher (123 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 ints, 7 FF, 2 FR) and won the NFL Linebacker of the year award, and was also selected to the Pro Bowl. I controlled Mike Brown (77 tackles, 1 sack, 6 ints, 5 FF, 2 FR, 3 TD) and won the NFL Defensive Back of the Year Award, along with a Pro Bowl trip.
Rex Grossman missed 5 games due to injury, and Kyle Orton proved to be an effective backup.
Thomas Jones rushed for 1,952 yards and 16 touchdowns, and Cedric Benson added 317 yards and 3 touchdowns in limited action, Benson was later traded to the Steelers durring the offseasn for 2 high round draft picks.
Bernard Berrian proved to be our favorite target, hauling in 47 receptions for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Our draft was amazing and went like this: RD 1 PK 32: A.J. Hawk (84 OVR) RD 2 PK 22: Laurence Maroney (82 OVR) RD 2 PK 32: Marcedes Lewis (80 OVR) RD 3 PK 22: Alley Broussard (82 OVR) RD 3 PK 32: Jay Culter (74 OVR) RD 4 PK 32: Justin London (75 OVR) RD 5 PK 22: Alan Zemaitis (79 OVR) RD 6 PK 32: Jonathan Orr (74 OVR)
We openeid the season at Green Bay with a 22-15 victory, and will visit the Patriots in our next matchup.
I've been playing a Buffalo Herders dynasty outside of DC for sometime, I'm in the year 2019, my most successful coach is the one coaching right now, he holds a 87-30 record with the team, which includes 5 Big Ten Titles, 2 National Championships a 25 game win streak, and the #1 ranked team in the entire nation.
Hopefully I can do the same with them Hearders in my DC dynasty.
This reminds me, I finally have time to update my dynasties, and away I go!
