I am sure all of you are very proud of a significant draft choice you have made in a madden franchise in the past or maybe present. So, who has been your best or most productive player you have ever drafted?
In an 8 year run with the Artizona Cardinals in Madden '05 I had drafted a player named Kdukwe Kalu(Real generated name). He was a 6'1 Strong safety. I was already playing safety with my created player, so I moved him to ROLB. He played there for two seasons and with 94 speed he obviously dominated. After he lead the team in sacks several times, I had realized I was stocked at linebacker, but had no secondary. Sinmce he was a safety originaly, I moved him to Cornerback and he blossumed.
In 4 seasons as a Cornerback, he had more tackles and more interceptions than any of my cornerbacks or linebackers had. He was a great compliment to my created safety. In one season, I kid you not, not a single pass was completed on him. He was a true "Shutdown" corneerback. It was the story of a college Safety turned linebacker turned shutdown corner. I had never seen anything like it.
Anoyther noteable player was a man named Craig Carter. A 99 speed Wide Reciever in the 6th round became a Hall of Fame legand in my Houston dynasty. I swear when you threw the ball deep, he would have a second gear that he would check into and burn the corner to the ball.
I always wonderd what it'd been like to see the two against eachother. Craig Carter -vs- Kdukwe Kalu. The match-up of the ages.

Playing ESPN NFL 2K5 with the Bears, I had finished off a 5-11 season, and needed offensive help badly, so I focused my draft on offense. Picked some random Wide Reciever in the 7th round name Felipe Underwood, he was rated 63 overall, but had 99 speed, and mid 80's for catching. Eventually found his way into the starting role after 5 games due to a depleted WR core due to injury, ended up with 100+ catches for 1,200+ yards and 12 TD's. He went from being 63 overall, to 89 overall, became my starting WR for obvoius reasons, but than Madden '06 came out, and I haven't gotten to play ESPN 2K5 in quite some time.

Madden is such a speed based game, it's ridiculous. I used to be able to rip off 200 yard games w/ Trung Canidate like there was no tomorrow.
